After getting permission from the Board of Selectmen, NANCA organized a fundraiser in Belmont

Center. NANCA members gave away Twix bars and asked for a donation. A total amount of about 50

dollars were raised. The money was donated to the Armenia Tree Project. They were able to plant two

trees for this money.

Five members of NANCA decided to do a cleaning around Clay pit pond. They split up in two groups each

having their own area. Both groups had garbage bags and two trash grabbers that were bought with

NANCA money. Each group collected about half a bag of garbage that included face masks, empty

bottles and other common trash. There were also many small pieces of plastic collected that are most

harmful for wild life and can easily spread further in nature.
